MFE specializes in on-site wastewater treatment system design and permitting in southwest Montana.

We evaluate a property for home or commercial use and work with owners, architects, builders, and installers to plan for the water and wastewater treatment (septic) systems that best suit the proposed property use and the surrounding environment.  We provide the site evaluation, soils identification, system design, and permitting assistance needed to obtain a septic permit, DEQ subdivision approval/rewrite, or project feasibility.

We also work with the system installer during construction to provide system inspection, testing, certification and as-built plans.

Scott Lowry has over 10 years of experience designing and permitting septic systems.  He is a Gallatin County Registered Site Evaluator and a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Montana.
